Statement of purpose (articles)

Based on the statement filed with Corporations Canada, with a clarification of our priorities.

AICC — African Immigrants Club of Canada is a not-for-profit organization that supports, first and foremost, African immigrants who have been in Canada for less than three years. It provides information, support and volunteer human resources from the community at the academic, daily-life, professional and entrepreneurial levels, as well as community mutual aid. It operates mainly online through a web platform and member meetings.

“First and foremost” means a priority, not a limit: our resources go first to people who have been in Canada for less than three years. Members of the community who have been here longer are not excluded and can be supported too.
